The new year has started with a bang! Now that ATBOM [ Aquarius the Book of Mer ] is funded it's full steam ahead! I've been hard at work getting pages for Previews and Solicitations with Diamond. After this week I'll be hard at work on the album and the book!

Final 72 Hours!

The final 72 Hours! This Friday at 7 pm the Kickstarter ends and my work begins! I've already started my pages for Solicitation and will be sharing them shortly! The first scenes take place in an alternative world; Harlem, 1983,and in Nova Scotia in the early 1900's so I've been having fun doing my research!
I am very color forward when doing my pages so I like to pick a scheme for the page and then revolve my figures around the colors that show up so they appear to blend into the scene.
I plot out my thumbnails with horrible lil squiggles so I can plot out where my type will be, and if I have enough room for it before drawing in the elements. Too much text? Might be time for a revision. Better now than after finals are in place and it's too late!
For example:

Page 24 Background! This will be my color scheme for the page. As it goes on the Sun will set and get darker panel per panel. This is a flashback so it will be a little more sketchy and dreamy

We've made it!
With your help we reached out 35K Overflow goal #2! That means all physical pledges get a free 11x14 Mer Pin up by Ellie Maple Fox! Woot! When she finishes up the pin up, I'll share!
Thank you folks for letting me know that the Add on Feature was glitchy. My amazing sister helped me come up with a work around. I wasn't able to see it from that end since I didn't pledge on my kickstarter but I took some images adjusting my buddy's kickstarter pledge:
STEP THREE: Add one penny to your pledge and press continue. (i.e $20.01)
STEP FOUR: The pledges should appear below! you can take off the penny after that and add what you'd like like an extra copy of David Mack's cover or the exclusive Kickstarter cover, some stickers etc.
